Madina Wala's was Established in 1992 as a private partnership firm, a family concern headed by Haji Abdul Karim Dhedhi (Madinawala), having a vast experience as an industrialist, real estate builder, trader and agriculturist, with a rich history of family back-ground in business dating back to 1815.

Brief Background:
We relate to a Business Memon Community, a Dhedhi Family from Junagadh State, Bombay, India. Our trading business of fore-fathers dates back to 1815, which grew up to an empire of 150 trade-houses all over India, along-with Burma, South Africa having the head office in Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka).
By the 1st quarter of the last century we extended to Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Great Britain having 30 foreign branches, under the name M/s A.B.H Noor Muhammad & Co.
After independence, we confined to Burma, East and West Pakistan, Far East and United Kingdom. We were the second largest importers in East Pakistan and were the pioneer in the export of cotton from West Pakistan.

Over the years:
In 1955 we established textile mills one in Burma and other in East Pakistan. Gradually thereafter we established other industries in East Pakistan comprising of a steel re-rolling mill, a carbon steel manufacturing unit, plastics and plasticizers industry, PVC (granules) manufacturing industry, electrical cable manufacturing unit and zip manufacturing unit etc, apart from various trading houses dealing in import of electrical, hardware, oils, cements, steel, yarn and textile all over East Pakistan.

After the nationalization in Burma and thereafter the fall of East Pakistan we migrated to West Pakistan. Here we started a trading import business and then diverted towards the construction industry and real estate business, under the name KARIM’S, DHEDHI’S, MADINAWALA’S (Al-Mustafa) and are in it since 1971. We are the pioneers in establishing shopping and housing complexes and have very successfully completed various projects both in Karachi as well in Islamabad.
